Philly Cheese Steak Sloppy Joe

  • 1 pound Ground Beef

Step 1

Add the ground beef to a large skillet and brown until a deep brown crust appears before breaking the beef apart.

Step 2

Stir and brown the ground beef until a deep crust appears on 50% of the beef.


  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 small Yellow Onion, diced
  • 1 small Green Bell Pepper, diced
  • 1 cup Fresh Mushrooms, minecd

Step 3

Remove the beef, add butter, onions, green peppers, mushrooms.

Step 4

Let cook for 4 minutes and then add the beef back into the pan.


  • 1 cup Beef Broth
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch

Step 5

In a small cup mix the beef broth and cornstarch together.


  • 2 tablespoons Ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 12 teaspoon Salt
  • 12 teaspoon Pepper

Step 6

To the beef and veggie mixture, add the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and the beef broth/cornstarch mixture.

Step 7

Cook until the mixture is only slightly liquidy, which should be about 3-5 minutes.


  • 1 cup Provolone, chopped or shredded
  • 6 Brioche Hamburger Buns

Step 8

Turn of the heat, add in the cheese. Then serve on toasted brioche buns.
