Pistachio Cake

Pistachio Cake

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.


  • 18 ounces Yellow Cake Mix
  • 3 Eggs
  • 3 38 ounces Jello Pistachio Flavored Instant Pudding and Pie Filling
  • 1 cup Club Soda
  • 12 cup Walnuts, chopped

Step 2

In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, jello and club soda. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes; stir in walnuts.

Step 3

Pour into greased, floured 10" bunt cake pan. Bake for 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Cool on wire rack for 20 minutes. Once cooled, split into 2 layers.


  • 1 12 cups Milk
  • 1 package Jello Pistachio, large package
  • 1 cup Crisco Vegetable Oil, no substitute
  • 1 envelope Dream Whip Whipped Topping Mix

Step 4

In a mixing bowl, beat milk, pudding mix, vegetable oil and whipped topping on low speed until thickened; about 5 minutes.


  • 12 cup Walnuts, chopped

Step 5

Spread about 1 cup of frosting between layers, spoon rest into center. Chill. Garnish with 1/2 cup chopped nuts.
