Pressure Cooker Whole Chicken

Directions

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Coconut Oil
  • 4 pounds Whole Chicken

Step 1

In your Instant Pot Pressure Cooker: Turn on the saute setting and add in the coconut oil. When the oil heats up, place the chicken in breast down and brown. Move around a few times to brown on all sides.

  • Salt and Pepper
  • Lemon Pepper

Step 2

Sprinkle with salt and pepper, and additional seasonings of your choice. Lock lid into place and cook for 20 minutes when vent is rocking.
 

Step 3

When the 20 minutes is up, turn off and let it drop at it's own accord. Turn the chicken over and cook for another 15 minutes on high. It should be ready at this point, but check to make sure. If needed, cook 5 minutes more.
