Pulled Pork Sandwiches

  • 2 pounds Boneless Pork Shoulder, or larger - just use more bbq sauce
  • 2 Onions, sliced into rings and coarsely chopped
  • 34 cup Barbecue Sauce
  • 8 Hamburger Buns
  • Sliced American Cheese, optional

Step 1

Place pork into croockpot. Top with onions and BBQ sauce. Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours or 4-5 hours on high. Remove pork from crockpot - transfer to cutting board or plate. Chop and shred with forks, removing as much excess fat as you desire. Return pork to crockpot; stir to cover with sauce. Leave lid off and cook on high 15-30 minutes more to thicken the sauce. Serve on hamburger buns. Top with cheese if desired.
