Pumpkin Pie

Directions

 

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

Ingredients

  • 1 Pie Crust, from my recipes
  • Dried Beans, for weight when baking crust

Step 2

Lay pie crust into pan and pinch edges for design. Lay foil to line the inside of the crust, pour in dried beans to make a single layer. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove pie from oven and discard the beans and foil. Bake another 10 minutes until crust is golden. Set aside to cool.

Ingredients

  • 15 ounces Canned Pumpkin, not pumpkin pie mix
  • 14 ounces Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 2 Eggs
  • 12 teaspoon Ground Ginger
  • 12 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
  • 12 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon

Step 3

Whisk all ingredients until smooth. Pour into crust. Bake 15 minutes.
 

Step 4

Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees and continue baking 35-40 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean. Cool before serving.
