Quiche with Meat Crust |

A delicious quiche made of duck eggs, a sausage-flavored crust, and a crunchy potato topping!
Directions |
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Ingredients
Step 2
Combine pork, spices, and bread crumbs.
|
Step 3
Press pork mixture into a 9" cast iron pan (or similar sized pie pan) to form the crust with a uniform thickness, between 1/4" and 1/2".

Whisk together eggs, cheese, butter, milk, and flour. Pour mixture into pan with meat crust.

Step 5
Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes, or until egg mixture feels somewhat firm.

Combine defrosted and crumbled tater tots with butter. Spread over the top of quiche, sprinkle with shredded mozzarella.

Step 7
Increase temperature to 400 degrees. Return pan to oven, uncovered, and bake for 10 minutes or until the top has begun to brown.

Step 8
Remove from oven and carefully tip the pan to pour off fat. Allow to cool. Cut into slices and serve with a dollop of sour cream.
