Roasted Chickpea Gyros

Roasted Chickpea Gyros

  • 115 ounces Canned Chickpeas
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
  • 12 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
  • 14 teaspoon Salt

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400degrees F. Pat dry chickpeas with paper towel, removing any skins that may come off. Gently toss chickpeas with oil, paprika, black pepper, cayenne pepper and salt.

Step 2

Spread chickpeas onto a greased, rimmed baking sheet, and roast for about 20 minutes, until lightly browned but not hard.


  • 4 Pita Bread
  • 1 cup Tzatziki Sauce
  • 14 Red Onion, cut into strips
  • 2 Lettuce Leaves
  • 1 Tomato, sliced

Step 3

Spread some tzatziki onto one side of the pita, then sprinkle in .25 of the chickpeas and add veggies. Fold in half and enjoy!
