Roasted Shrimp Cocktail

Roasted Shrimp Cocktail

Simple and so much more flavorful than boiling the shrimp.



Step 1

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.


  • 2 pounds Raw Shrimp, 20-25 count preferred

Step 2

Peel and devein the shrimp.


  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil

Step 3

Place peeled and deveined shrimp into a food storage bag. Add olive oil, seal and toss to coat shrimp with oil.


  • Salt and Pepper, to taste

Step 4

Pour shrimp onto a foil-lined sheet pan and arrange in a single layer. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place in preheated oven.

Step 5

Roast for 8 to 10 minutes, just until pink and firm and cooked through. Set aside to cool.


  • 12 cup Chili Sauce, heinz preferred
  • 12 cup Ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons Prepared Horseradish
  • 2 teaspoons Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 12 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 14 teaspoon Hot Sauce, tabasco preferred

Step 6

Cocktail Sauce: Combine the chili sauce, ketchup, horseradish, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce. Serve as a dip with the shrimp.
