Directions

 

Step 1

Heat oven to 350F.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 pound Baby Asparagus, spears, rinsed, dried and trimmed
  • 14 teaspoon Dried Thyme
  • 14 teaspoon Dried Ground Oregano
  • 14 teaspoon Dried Basil
  •   Kosher Salt, to taste
  • 14 teaspoon Black Pepper

Step 2

Toss the asparagus in a 13 x 9-inch baking dish or a shallow 3-quart casserole pan with the spices. Arrange asparagus in a single layer in the dish as much as possible.
 

Step 3

Bake uncovered 12 to 13 minutes for thin asparagus or 15 to 18 minutes for thick asparagus, or until crisp-tender. Garnish with diced tomato if desired.
