Savory Egg Pockets

  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 14 cup Bell Pepper
  • 12 cup Tomato, seeded and chopped

Step 1

Heat butter in 10" skillet over medium heat until melted. Add bell pepper and tomato and cook about 3 minutes, stirring occasionally until pepper is tender.


  • 8 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 14 teaspoon Salt

Step 2

Mix eggs, Worcestshire sauce and salt. Pour into skillet. As mixture begins to set, gently lift so that the thin uncooked portions flow to bottom. Avoid stirring! . Cook 3 to 5 minutes until eggs are thickened throughout but still moist.


  • 2 Pita Bread, 6" cut in half and opened to form pckets

Step 3

Spoon egg mixture in pita halves.


  • 12 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Step 4

Sprinkle each pocket with cheese.


  • 12 cup Alfalfa Sprouts

Step 5

Top with Alfalfa.
