Seared Shrimp Peas And Yellow Rice

  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 1 pound Shrimp, , peeled, medium

Step 1

Heat 1 tbsp oil in largeskillet on med high. Add 1/3 of shrimp; cook 2 minutes or until golden brown on both sides. Remove shrimp from skillet. Srepeat with remaining shrimp adding oil as needed. Set shrimp aside.


  • 2 12 cups Water
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 Yellow Rice Mix

Step 2

Add water and butter into same skillet; bring to boil. Stir in rice mix; return to boil. Reduce heat to low cover and simmer 25 minutes or until rice is tender.


  • 34 cup Frozen Peas
  • 14 cup Green Onion, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice

Step 3

Stir in shrimp, peas, green onions and lemon juice until well mixed. Cover. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
