Slow Cooker Cabbage Casserole

This slow cooker cabbage casserole is easy to throw together and cooks with no effort! Cook on low 8-10 hours or on high for 4-6 depending on your needs. Common ingredients that can be found using coupons and deals!



  • 1 12 pounds Ground Beef
  • 2 medium Yellow Onion, Finely chopped
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced
  • 1 Salt
  • 14 teaspoon Pepper

Step 1

In large skillet, combine beef, onion, garlic, salt and pepper. Cook until browned. Drain excess fat.


  • 1 can Canned Tomato Soup
  • 1 can Tomato Sauce, 7.5oz
  • 1 cup Water
  • 12 cup Long Grain Brown Rice

Step 2

Add tomato sauce, water and 1/2 of the tomato soup to beef and mix well. Add rice, stir to combine.


  • 4 cups Cabbage, Shredded (I use coleslaw mix)

Step 3

Place 1/2 of meat in slow cooker then 1/2 of Shredded cabbage. Top with remaining meat and then the remainder of cabbage.


  • 13 cup Tomato Juice

Step 4

In a bowl, combine the remainder of the tomato soup with the tomato juice. Mix well and pour over the cabbage and beef in slow cooker.

Step 5

Put lid on slow cooker and cook on low 8-10 hours or on high 4-6 hours.
