Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.


  • 2 34 cups Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 12 teaspoon Coarse Salt

Step 2

Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt, set aside.


  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter, softened
  • 1 12 cups Sugar

Step 3

Put butter and sugar into a bowl, mix with electric mixer (paddle attachment) on medium speed until pale and fluffy, 3 minutes.


  • 2 Eggs, large

Step 4

Mix in eggs. Reduce speed to low; gradually mix in flour mixture.


  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon

Step 5

Stir together cinnamon and remaining sugar in a small bowl.

Step 6

Shape dough into 1 3/4 inch balls, roll in cinnamon sugar. Space them 3 inches apart on baking sheets. Bake cookies, rotating sheets halfway through, until edges are golden, 12-15 minutes. Let cool on wire racks.
