Sour Cream Noodle Bake

A yummy simple lasagne-like casserole, sure to be enjoyed by the whole family!

Directions

Ingredients

  • 1 package Egg Noodles

Step 1

Cook noodles, drain and rinse.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Butter, margarine can be substituted.
  • 1 pound Ground Round
  • 1 clove Minced Garlic

Step 2

Brown meat in butter with garlic.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 dash Pepper
  • 16 ounces Tomato Sauce
  • 6 Scallions, optional

Step 3

Add remaining sauce ingredients and simmer 20 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 3 ounces Cream Cheese
  • 1 cup Sour Cream

Step 4

Mix cream cheese and sour cream.
 

Step 5

Layer noodles, cheese mixture and meat sauce three times.

Ingredients

  • 1⁄2 cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese

Step 6

Top with sharp cheddar and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
