Soybean Sprout Salad

Here's a simple recipe for light appetizer or side dish. Soy bean sprout salad.



  • 1 pound Soybean Sprouts

Step 1

Blanch the soybean sprout in a pot of boiling water for a 3-4 minutes.

Step 2

Drain well and set aside to cool for a few minutes.

Step 3

Place soybean sprout in a large bowl.


  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Toasted Sesame Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Rice Vinegar
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Step 4

Stir in the sesame oil, sugar, vinegar. Add salt and pepper, to taste.


  • 2 teaspoons Toasted Sesame Seeds

Step 5

Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds on the soybean sprout salad.

Step 6

Serve at room temperature or chilled.


  • Nori (Dried Seaweed), shredded

Step 7

For garnish, add some chopped green onions, red pepper flakes, or shredded seaweed.
