If you can't stand the heat, then you're weak sauce... this dish is intended for only those that can handle spicy fare! These spicy Korean pork ribs are marinated in hot red bean paste sauce, then grilled to perfection. Prepare the day before, to allow the marinade to work its magic.

Directions

Ingredients

  • 5 pounds Baby Back Pork Rib

Step 1

Separate ribs by cutting meat between the bones. Place in a large bowl.

Ingredients

  • 1 inch Fresh Ginger, minced
  • 1 clove Garlic Clove, finely chopped
  • 1 cup Fresh Chili Paste, (go-chu jjang)
  • 12 cup Korean Malt Syrup, (mool yut)
  • 12 cup Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Sesame Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper

Step 2

Combine the remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Rub generously over meat. Cover and refrigerate for 3 hours, preferably overnight.

Step 3

Grill ribs over medium-high heat until done, about 5-6 minutes per side.
