Stuffed French Toast

Stuffed French Toast

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees f.


  • 1 14 cups Milk
  • 6 Eggs, whisked
  • Salt & Pepper

Step 2

In a bowl, whisk together eggs and milk. Season with salt & pepper. Dip bread slices in mixture, flipping once to make sure they are coated. Reserve egg wash for later.


  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 16 slices Bread

Step 3

In a non-stick skillet, melt butter over medium-low heat, and place bread in pan. Cook until golden on each side, flipping once. Repeat with remaining bread.


  • 16 slices Ham
  • 16 slices Cheddar Cheese
  • 14 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 12 cup Red Bell Pepper, diced
  • 12 cup Green Bell Pepper, diced

Step 4

Prepare a 13x9 casserole dish with butter, and build casserole by layering half the bread, then half the cheese, the ham slices, then the bell peppers. Top with remaining cheese slices and bread, and pour over top the remaining egg wash. Sprinkle the top with cheddar cheese.

Step 5

Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
