Stuffed Pork Chops |

A very easy way to dress up normal pork chops. A big hit for company dinners as well as regular family meals.

Ingredients
Step 1
Cut large horizontal pocket to the bone in each pork chop. Season with salt and pepper to taste and sprinkle with sage.

Wrap a slice of cheese with a slice of ham and tuck a bundle into the chop and secure with a toothpick.

Step 3
Preheat skillet with EVOO. Season chops with salt and pepper and cook each side for 5-10 minutes. After cooked through, move to serving plate with a foil tent.

Add butter, mushrooms, garlic, and thyme to skillet. Saute 3-4 minutes then season with salt and pepper. Dust mushrooms with flour and cook one more minute.

Whisk in wine, stock, and mustard then simmer until thick - several minutes.
