Sweet And Sour Popcorn Chicken

  • 12 ounces Frozen Popcorn Chicken

Step 1

Microwave popcorn chicken according to package directions.


  • 1 Green Pepper, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 12 Onion, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 20 ounces Canned Pineapple, tidbits or chunks
  • 3 tablespoons Vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Ketchup

Step 2

In large skillet, stir fry pepper and onion in oil 3-4 minutes until crisp tender. Drain pineapple, reserving juice in a 2 cup measuring cup; set pineapple aside. Add enough water to juice to make 1 1/3 cups; stir in vinegar, soy sauce and ketchup.


  • 13 cup Packed Brown Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch

Step 3

In a bowl, combine brown sugar and cornstarch. Stir in pineapple juice mixture until smooth. Add to skillet, stirring. Bring to boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Add pineapple. Reduce heat; simmer uncovered 4-5 minutes or until heated through. Stir in cooked popcorn chicken. Serve immediately.
