Sweet & Sour Meatballs

Perfect for putting out with a buffet of other items, or can be a meal in itself as it actually tastes really good atop rice instead of on top of spaghetti.

Directions

Ingredients

  • 1 12 pounds Lean Ground Beef
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dried Onion, minced
  • 34 cup Bread Crumbs
  • 1 Egg

Step 1

Combine these ingredients using your hands in a bowl. Then form mixture into meatballs.
 

Step 2

You can cook the meatballs either: A) in a fry pan (without sauce) followed by a slow cooker (with sauce) or B) in a baking dish (with sauce) without a cover in the oven for 350 degrees F for 35-40 minutes while turning and basting them

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon Mustard
  • 6 tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon HP Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 12 cups Ketchup
  • 1 12 cups Water

Step 3

Now it's time to make the sauce! Simply combine all these ingredients together and pour in with cooked meatballs.
