Sweet and Salty Salmon

Quick, easy and delicious. The sweetness of the jam/preserves mixes extremely well with the saltiness of the black bean and garlic sauce.

Directions

 

Step 1

Preheat the broiler of the oven on high

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Apricot Preserves, Or apricot jam.
  • 13 cup Black Bean and Garlic Sauce, Found in the Asian aisle, I use the Lee Kum Kee brand.

Step 2

Mix the apricot and black bean and garlic sauce in a bowl well.

Ingredients

  • 1 12 pounds Salmon Fillet

Step 3

Cover a baking sheet with foil and spray with non-stick cooking spray. Place the salmon on the baking sheet and spoon the mixture on top of the salmon. Make sure you cover the entire thing.
 

Step 4

Place salmon into the preheated oven and cook for 7 minutes per inch thickness of salmon.

Ingredients

  • 3 Green Onions, Finely chopped
  •   Sesame Seeds

Step 5

Remove from the oven and top with sesame seeds and green onions.
