Tex-Mex Beef Brunch Quiche

Directions

 

Step 1

Prep: Slice green onion. Drain tomatoes.
 

Step 2

Preheat oven to 375F.

Ingredients

  • 1 Pastry Dough, for 1-crust 9-inch pie

Step 3

Line a 9-inch pie pan with pastry dough; set aside.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Lean Ground Beef
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 12 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 2 teaspoons Ground Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
  • 14 cup Green Onion, sliced
  • 14 12 ounces Diced Tomatoes, drained (canned)

Step 4

Saute ground beef until browned; drain off fat. Remove from the heat and stir in salt, garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, green onion and tomatoes.

Ingredients

  • 5 Eggs
  • 12 cup Water, cold

Step 5

Place eggs and water in a bowl and blend well.

Ingredients

  • 1 12 cups Shredded Taco Cheese Blend

Step 6

Layer the ground beef mixture, egg mixture and cheese in the pie shell.
 

Step 7

Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until set. Makes 6-8 servings.
