The Last Snack Mix You Will Ever Need

Absolutely wonderful snack mix recipe that makes TONS. Cheap too!



  • 2 sticks Butter, clarified
  • 1 tablespoon Kosher Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic Powder
  • 2 tablespoons Dried Minced Onion
  • 14 cup Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 packet Chili Seasoning Mix, optional: choose 1
  • 1 packet Ranch Dressing Mix, optional: choose 1
  • 1 packet Fajita Seasoning, optional: choose 1
  • 1 packet Taco Seasoning, optional: choose 1
  • 1 bottle Tajin Seasoning, optional: choose 1
  • 14 cup Creole Seasoning, emeril's essence, tony cachere's, or similar. optional: choose 1

Step 1

Melt and clarify butter. Place in a (REALLY) large bowl. Add worcestershire sauce, kosher salt, garlic powder, dried onion, and sugar, plus any optional seasonings you may have chosen. Mix briefly to combine.


  • 2 cups Cocktail Peanuts
  • 2 cups Oyster Crackers
  • 1 box Corn Chex Cereal, chextype
  • 2 cups Small Pretzels
  • 1 box Rice Chex Cereal, chextype
  • 1 batch Popcorn, optional

Step 2

Gradually add cereals, pretzels, crackers, and nuts. Stir continually to coat evenly. Place in microwave on HIGH for 5-6 minutes, stirring thoroughly every 2 minutes with a high-temp rubber spatula, scraping sides and bottom of container. It may be necessary to divide the mixture into 2 or even 3 portions, depending upon size of microwave and available container sizes.

Step 3

Line several large sheet pans with paper towels. Spread mixture out in a thin layer and allow to cool. Store in large zip-lock bags in refrigerator until ready to serve. For best flavor, serve at room temperature.
