The sauce is at his best when you prepare it the dat before.

Ingredients
Step 1
Fry the onion for appr. 2 minutes. Add the tomato, chili pepper, bay leaf. Fry them for about 8 minutes.

Roast the almonds in some olive oil. Add the garlic and fry them for about 1 minute.

Pu the roasted almonds, garlic, parsley and white bread into a food processor and grind it.

Add the almonds paste to the tomato sauce and add the sherry, vinegar and some water. Simmer this for another 5 minutes. Add some salt and pepper. Remove the bay leaf. Store the sauce in the refrigerator.

Fry or grill the tuna steaks. In the meanwhile you heat up the sauce.

Step 6
Serve the tuna steaks on plates together with the sauce. Serve this together with saffron rice and vennel.
