Tuna with Wasabi Cream

  • 13 cup Soy Sauce
  • 13 cup Sake, or dry sherry
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Oil
  • 1 teaspoon White Sesame Seeds

Step 1

Make the saki marinade in a dish that can hold the tuna in a single layer. REfrigerate for marinating tuna for 2 hours.


  • 12 cup Sour Cream
  • 12 cup Heavy Cream
  • 2 teaspoons Wasabi Powder

Step 2

Make the creme fresh for the wasabi cream sauce by mixing sour creme and heavy cream and wasabi powder. Refrigerate that for 2 hours as well.


  • 36 ounces Ahi Tuna, 1 inch thick
  • 1 pinch White Sesame Seeds, for garnish
  • 4 bunches Fresh Chives, garnish

Step 3

Grill tuna directly over heat on a gas grill, 3-5 minutes each side. Garnish with wasabi cream, chives, and sesame seeds.
