Turkey Meatballs

Turkey Meatballs

If you have a lot of turkey gravy left over this is a great way to use it up.

Directions

 

Step 1

Line baking sheet with foil and spray with cooking spray. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Ingredients

  • 2 Eggs
  • 4 cloves Garlic, pressed

Step 2

In a large bowl, beat the two eggs together; stir in the garlic and allow to sit for 5 minutes so the the garlic flavors the eggs.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Thyme
  • 12 teaspoon Black Pepper

Step 3

Add in the milk, salt, thyme and pepper. Stir to thoroughly combine.

  • 1 cup Rolled Oats

Step 4

Stir in the oats.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds 93% Lean Ground Turkey

Step 5

Add the ground turkey and, using your hands, work it into the mixture until it is thoroughly combined and oats are evenly distributed.
 

Step 6

Roll meat mixture into 2 inch meatballs. Place on prepared baking sheet. Note: Wet your hands if meat starts to stick excessively.
 

Step 7

Bake meatballs for 30 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165 on an instant read thermometer.
 

Step 8

After meatballs have cooled a bit transfer them to a large, non-stick frying pan. Add 4 cups of your favorite gravy. Cover and simmer for 20-30 minutes.
 

Step 9

Serve over egg noodles.
