With a little imagination, and a nice cast iron skillet, you can make a treat for the whole family. (Note: Photo does not include diced tomatoes or lettuce topping.)
Directions |
Ingredients
Step 1
Preheat the over to 375F degrees. Dice the onion. Dice the tomato into small pieces. Drain and dry as best as you can. Blot it with paper towel if necessary.
|
Ingredients
Step 2
Cook the Morning Star Crumbles as directed on the package. Add additional seasoning to taste. Add some hot sauce if you want it to have an extra zest to it.

Step 3
Roll out your pizza dough as if you were going to make a regular pizza pie. Once its rolled out, place it on the center of a cast iron skillet. If you don't have a skillet, you can use your favorite pizza pan, or even a large pie pan.

Ingredients
Step 4
Pour the taco sauce over the dough, spreading it evenly, like pizza sauce.

Ingredients
Step 5
Mix both cheeses together and add a layer of cheese on top of the sauce.
|
Step 6
Evenly distribute the Morning Star Crumbles on top of the cheese. Then, add a bit more cheese on top of that.

Ingredients
Step 7
Add the diced tomato and olives on top of the cheese. At this time you can add additional seasoning if you'd like. (Ex. Picante seasoning, or Southwest seasoning)
|
Step 8
Bake for 15-20 minutes at 400 degrees. (in some cases it may take a bit longer. Check the crust to make sure it's done all the way through)

Ingredients
Step 9
Once ready, slice using a pizza cutter and add shredded lettuce and a dollop of Tofutti Sour Cream, and serve.
