A good burger recipe.

Directions

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 12 cup Carrot, Peeled, finely chopped
  • 1 cup Fresh Mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 medium Onion, Finely chopped

Step 1

saute onions, carrot, mushrooms, garlic in olive oil

Ingredients

  • 12 teaspoon Paprika
  • 12 teaspoon Oregano
  • 12 teaspoon Dried Thyme
  • 1 cup TVP (Textured Vegetable Protein)
  • 3 tablespoons Tomato Paste
  • 3 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 12 cups Vegetable Broth

Step 2

add broth, soy sauce, tomato paste, TVP, herbs
 

Step 3

cover and bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer for 7 minutes.
 

Step 4

uncover and cook 3-5 mins more, occasionally stirring until TVP is fully cooked and texture is meaty.
 

Step 5

Transfer to mixing bowl and let cool for about 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Peanut Butter
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon Mustard

Step 6

Add the mustard and peanut butter and mix well
 

Step 7

add the oat flour and mix again
 

Step 8

cover and refrigerate for at least 30 mins.
 

Step 9

roll into balls, shape into burgers.

heat a skillet, pour thin layer of oil then cook the burgers--5 mins on each side

put burger on a bun and eat it.
