Light breakfast waffles with beaten egg whites

Directions

Ingredients

  • 2 Egg Whites

Step 1

Separate eggs and set yolks aside. Beat egg whites. Set aside.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Cake Flour
  • 14 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 4 teaspoons Baking Powder

Step 2

Sift together dry ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1 14 cups Milk
  • 2 Egg Yolks, beaten lightly

Step 3

Add liquid ingredients except butter.

  • 2 tablespoons Butter

Step 4

Stir in melted butter.
 

Step 5

Fold in egg whites. Start cooking immediately. Use roughly 1/2 cup batter in an 8-inch round waffle iron.
