Great tasting white beans!

Directions

Ingredients

  • 1 bag Great Northern Beans, Pick out all of the bad beans

Step 1

Soak your beans for at least 1hr.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Creole Seasoning, Frozen or fresh is fine
  • 12 pound Bacon, hickory is best for flavor

Step 2

Saute bacon until slightly brown on medium high heat. Add creole seasoning to bacon and saute for about 10 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 12 tablespoon Garlic Powder, Or sautee minced garlic with your creole seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon Tony Chacere, feel free to add your favorite seasonings...just make sure salt and pepper is present!

Step 3

Drain the water from the beans; add about 8 cups of fresh water to the pot on high heat. Add in creole seasoning and dried seasonings. Bring to a boil; cook on medium-high heat for 40 minutes (or until beans are tender).

Ingredients

  • 12 tablespoon parsley flakes
  • 4 Rice, cooked

Step 4

Add parsley flakes to beans. Serve on top of rice.
