Whole Wheat Snickerdoodles

Excellent whole wheat snack.



Step 1

Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.


  • 2 Butter, sticks, softened
  • 34 cup Brown Sugar
  • 34 cup Sugar
  • 2 Eggs

Step 2

Beat butter, brown sugar, and 3/4 cup sugar until creamy. Add eggs, beat well.


  • 1 34 cups Whole Wheat Flour
  • 2 cups Old-Fashioned Rolled Oats, uncooked
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 12 teaspoon Salt

Step 3

In a separate bowl, combine flour, oats, 1 tsp cinnamon, baking soda and salt.


  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon

Step 4

Mix the two mixtures well. Drop by round balls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Sprinkle each ball lightly with the remaining 1 tsp + 1 tsp cinnamon.

Step 5

Bake 8-10 minutes at 375 degrees.
