Pea Patch has been planted and I can't wait to use my fresh & organic veggies in my recipes! (Gluten free is how it goes in my kitchen - nothing but!)
About
I am using this site primarily to organize the myriad recipes I've accumulated from my favorite foodblogs/websites/magazines/places into one location with a broad range of search capabilities.

When you have as many "I want to make this!"-type recipes sitting around as I do, it makes it impossible to decide what's for dinner! As a result, most of these recipes lie dormant in my notebook/pile/box of "To try". Now, when I say, 'I have cabbage and fresh corn and some lentils,' I can head straight to my cache of blogger recipes and find something already tailored to just that! I'm stoked :)
So far I have not posted many of my very own recipes, and you will see that I have many bloggers and sites represented in the recipes I have taken the time to input. Please take the time to check out their sites (which I have consistently Source Linked), as they definitely deserve your time and, if you're at all like me, you'll get sucked into their awesomeness too!
All of the Recipes I have inputted are either naturally gluten free, or easily adaptable to being gluten free. I have Celiac Disease and must eat a strict gluten free diet. When you see the note "**use GF as necessary", that is letting you know #1, that ingredient is not gluten free in its typical form and #2, this is a note that the original blogger of the recipe did not include and is there to help those finding the recipe on KitchenMonki for gluten free purposes remember to use a safe gluten free ingredient.

hey (maybe there is an easier way this other than your wall, but a few questions maybe you can point me in the right direction for answers)...is there a place when adding a recipe to just talk about it other than the comments, like so that people know you are commenting directly on a recipe that you posted yourself? So like say, I want to talk about the things that I serve a certain thing with, or like the tweaking I did to a particular ingredient, or a substitution that I tried that worked or something? huh. Maybe I should take up blogging. But this is easier and less commitment :)

Hey T! I'm finally getting stared on here...I think that I am going to stick to only things that I have made and rate them so that I always have a go-to for all my favorites. Pl;us, I can post all the pictures that I take of my food that otherwise just sit on my computer. I just added my scallop recipe-so excited! I kept my little post-it note with with the ingredients that I had used in my purse during the move so that I would NOT lose it-I hadn't posted it yet and I had already lost it once! :) I know, scallops are easy, but the seasoning on these are amazing! Couldn't risk losing it again!
